Paulie Perret is a former American actress, writer, singer and civil rights advocate. She is best known for playing Abby Sciuto in the TV series NCIS from 2003 to 2018. She was born in New Orleans and grew up in the southern United States.

In an interview, she revealed that she had an obsession with crime and law. In fact, she was pursuing her master’s degree in criminal science before she started a career in acting. After NCIS ended, she moved on to play Jackie in the CBS sitcom Broke. On July 7, 2020, she announced that she would be retiring from industry.
