Dominique Moceanu
Dominique rose to prominence as a gymnast, who used to be a member of the United States’ gold-medal winning team at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. Moceanu’s last major achievement in gymnastics was in the 1998 Goodwill Games, when she became the first American to win the all-around gold medal. Family problems, coaching changes and injuries prevented her from participating in the 2000 Sydney Olympics and retired in 2000. With this feat, the 39-year-old personality started living a lavish life, which resulted in financial issues.
Sadly, Moceanu was not the only one who was using her bank account, but also her parents. According to reports, she once needed her lawyer’s help when she filed a lawsuit against her parents for abusing her wealth. According to reports, she started earning seven figures through her sporting success and when she dropped her autobiography, An American Champion. But before she could use much of it, her mom and dad already exhausted her bank account, leaving her with only a little amount.
