Geoffrey Owens

Geoffrey Owens is another star who rose to prominence when he played a role on The Cosby Show. At the time, he was best known as Elvin Tibideaux. The 59-year-old star also came from a prominent family. He is the son of the former US Congressman Major Owens. But unlike his father, he has no interest in politics. He did not even follow in his footsteps.

When NBC decided to stop airing The Cosby Show reruns, it badly affected Owens’ finances. With no earnings, a photo of him working at a New Jersey Trader Joe’s supermarket started circulating online in 2018. Although there was nothing bad about having this job, fans were surprised to see him there. Anyhow, it led to different positive opportunities.
